A wormhole (in outerspace) is essentially a shortcut between two points in space-time that could take much less time than a normal linear trip through space. In this context, space is considered in three-dimensions and time plays the role of the fourth dimension. It is this critical relationship between space and time that dictates the function of a wormhole as it relates to the possibilities of time-travel and traversability (moving between two spatial planes). To date, the existence of wormholes has not been proven or dis-proven.
“wormholes” is a collection of hypothetical statements between space and time as they navigate their relationship before, after and during a wormhole event.
